WHY STUDENT GOLD PACK?
This competition was created to add a little 'extra' to the compulsory practical assingment, which is a part of the One Year Packaging Technology Course. In addition to earning your academic mark for the course, some of the assignments will be selected to be entered into the STUDENT Gold Pack competition and may win prizes. Your assignment will first be marked for academic criteria with the marks earned being counted towards your overall academic performance. Your assignment may then be selected as a competition entry in the STUDENT Gold Pack Competition, with a wider range of criteria being evaluated including innovation and uniqueness (see the topic "How to Win" in the "Tips, Links & Reference" tab)
Those entries scoring high academic marks very often go on to win some of the prizes in the competition, but academic ranking does not necessarily equate to competition results.
