The Mpact Student Gold Pack Trophy
Awarded to the best packaging technology entry overall, this includes a R 6,000 cash prize.

The Mpact Silver Award
Awarded to the second placed packaging technologyentry overall, this includes a R 3,000 cash prize.
The Mpact Bronze Award
Awarded to the third placedpackaging technology overall, this includes a R 1,500 cash prize.

Best in Project Brief Award
The best entry in each of the 3 project briefs and includes a cash prize of R 1,500

First Runner-up in in Project Brief Award
The second placed entry in each of the 3 project briefs and includes a cash prize of R 800

Second Runner-up in Project Brief Award
The third placed entry in each of the 3 project briefs and includes a cash prize of R 400

Special Sponsor and Judges Awards

Certain awards may be granted by specific sponsors or the judges for specific attributes of the entry.
For example -

petco.jpg   The PETCO Special Award will go to the entry that, in addition to meeting the challenge of the specific brief, also displays a responsible approach to the use of PET as a packaging material.

All entries achieving the status of FINALIST will receive a certificate of recognition. All award winners, including the FINALISTS who qualify for the WPO WorldStar Student Awards entry conditions will be entered into that international award competition by IPSA. 

The judges reserve the right to withhold any of the above if, in their opinion, no entry is received in a category of a sufficient standard.
