WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Select one of the project briefs. Consider your selection carefully. It may help to think of products you purchase or consume. Spend some time looking at products on retail shelves and identify where you could propose a packaging concept that would make a real difference. Develop your packaging design concept to meet the criteria of the project brief.
If this project is a part of your course assignments, you first will submit your project as instructed by your lecturer or course leader. For your project to be entered into the STUDENT GOLD PACK AWARDS programme, you will need to register and complete the on-line entry form (on this website).

Some students may even present both for clarity and to overcome the execution problems presented by the mock-up. The purpose of the mock-up is to clearly demonstrate the how your pack concept works in 3D. Making a physical mock-up will help you test the practicality and functionality of your concept. This may include both visuals and text - but keep it relevant to your concept. This is optional additional information - Avoid this being too complex or 'wordy'. Focus on what makes your concept different and 'stand-out'.
The PHYSICAL MOCK-UP
All students are required to produce physical mock-ups of the packaging proposal. Only in rare circumstances, will it be accepted that this is not feasible and the CGI visuals will be accepted.
